Through a straightforward mobile application, users are able to complete a one-time enrollment process that averages under 3 minutes. Following enrollment, individuals can leverage their Q5id for transaction authentication at any time or place.

Enrollment

• An uncomplicated 4-step process accompanied by in-app guidance requiring under 3 minutes:
  1. Face Scan
  2. Right and Left Palm Scans
  3. ID Verification
  4. Video Verification

Subsequent to enrollment, users can employ their Q5id Proven Identity with establishments that implement Q5id for safeguarding transactions against identity fraud.

Authentication

• The authentication process is completed in less than 2 seconds. During a transaction with an entity utilizing Q5id, the user receives an in-app push notification for authentication. The user then provides a selfie and captures an image of one palm. The Q5id platform validates the data and relays an “approved/not approved” notification to the transaction-performing entity.

Security

• All stored and transmitted data is encrypted. Additionally, Q5id transforms biometric data into a template utilizing a hashing algorithm. Even in the event of an unauthorized access, the data cannot be reverse-engineered from the template.
